Rooms were comfortable and spacious and good hot water shower and bath. Breakfast was solid and relaxed.
The location is spectacular. Many hotels on Jaú or that area are steep towards Paulista, but Haddock Lobo is a gentler slope, so it's a trivial walk up.
Easily the most underrated city in Latin America. An entire encyclopedia could be written about what Sãeste Paulo has to offer and it still wouldn't cover everything. Getting around São Paulo is easy, but take into consideration traffic can be unsurmountable. Tourism should be done in batches in this city: pick one area, get there however you like (public transport, ride-sharing, etc) and explore it on foot before having to use another mode of transport to either get back to your base or continue to another area.

This 5-star hotel offers luxurious accommodations just 328 feet from Trianon-Masp metro station in Bela Vista, Sao Paulo. It has a spa, an internal and heated swimming pool and free private parking. Great service, good spa structure and great breakfast and free parking.
The hotel location was excellent which is close to República or Anhangabau metro station, rooms were on the large size, great buffet breakfast and staff were very friendly despite my non-existent Brazilian Portuguese but staff made a good attempt at speaking English. Due to hotel location it can be noisy when carnival is in full swing.
Great part vá aqui mesmo of São Paulo, with tons to do close by. The hotel is super trendy and the staff are easy going and attentive. The breakfast is awesome and finally, the shower gets hot If you want it to be!
Clean and modern hotel in Sãeste Paulo, location was good there are a lot of restaurants near. Hotel was practically new. Rooms are pretty and have good size.

This was one of the best places we've stayed during 3 weeks in Brasil. Even comparing with 4 stars hotels Pousada Zilah wins my heart! Location, cosy and spacious at the same time, stylish interior, home made breakfast and even small internal garden!
The greatest activities in the city are related to its artistic, foody, technological and cultural scene: stick to them and you won't regret a thing. A solid research before the trip will come in handy where to go and where not to go, safety-wise. Other than that, it can be a non-issue.
